im been thinking and i thought it would be a good idea to have the tec pages done so you can pull them out and put in a binder, its a bit of a nightmare trying to rember a article about say on brakes or whatever then trying to find which issue it was in to have a look, but if it was in a binder would be a lot easier:thumb:

Yes, just like Performance Ford have done for the last few years... My boy is into all that sort of stuff and has nicked all me pull out sections... Only problem is that it ruins the staples and the mag falls apart!:rsocmoan:

they could maybe do the tec section in a little suppliment with holes for the binder, so you dont have to pull it out the mag

Good thinking. Alternatively the little bugger could just fold the stapels back into place!

Or as an alternative... binders and an index printed as a supplement for that year, giving a guide to all articles.

There used to be a section like that on the back issues page iirc.

If each section of the index was on a single page, then they can be put into their own sections each year, so it would be easy to find.

Alright guys, we did think about doing a pull out section a while back for the tech stuff. In the end we decided not to because of the problems with the mag falling appart and it just looks a bit naff really. However, Gary mate, that ideas a cracker!

I once subscribed to a techy mag at work that issued the indexes on disk/download each month so that you could search for articles on the PC - don't know if that is something that you'd even consider but it would be excellent to be able to do it - even if you issued the index periodically if not monthly.

The moon on a stick, that's what we want ;)

Yep, that's a great idea - maybe CF could provide some sort of binder. I find that a huge pile of CF mags build up and then my mrs starts to moan at me to chuck 'em, so now i'm limited to just keeping a couple when I really want to keep all the important techy stuff that I might need one day!!!:stu:
