Engine Standard apart from the mildest cam Kent does and a tickled head.

Cossie Management fitted with Injection inlet Plenum.

That looks pretty good actually - pretty much what I'm planning so that gives me a good idea of what to expect.

stick some twin carbs on it and it will be even better :thumb:

It would actually be much worse, the carbs would not be as efficient low down and the carbs would want the engine to rev and with the cam / spring combination would valve bounce at 6k rpm.

i've had 2 140ish bhp pinto engines and both were on the standard twin choke weber, you dont need twin carbs at these power levels in my experiance.

thing thing to take in to consideration is esme has an autobox, and clint has very wisely built an engine which lugs well from low revs, exactly what you need with a street driven auto which hasn't got a modded box and high stall speed converter

Very flat torque curve so I would expect that it goes very well. Hard to judge with the auto box I suppose.

she pulls very well through the gears, plenty quick enough off the line to suprise people in hot hatches, goes well on kickdown as well.

goes well enough to earn you hard stares from the owner anyway. :D
