this is my anglia, i have owned it for about 3 months now, sorry i havent posted pics sooner, i havent really used the computer!!!

it is a 1967 anglia deluxe, got a 2.1 pinto fitted with v6 pistons etc, 5 speed box, kent fr34 cam and vernier, vulcan stage 2 head, 38 dgav carb (3 litre v6 carb) 4 branch ashley manifold, lightened and balanced flywheel and crank, Has telescopic rear shox and anti tramp bars, has 2.8 capri front struts and modified escort crossmember, with correct poundage springs for the weight of the pinto, has anti roll bars on the front and a steering rack conversion, has vented disks on the front and rs2000 drums on the rear with a remote servo and milton pedal box,
was running a 3.7 diff untill i blew the planet wheels 2 pieces doing a burnout up town!! now has standard 67 anglia 997 diff now (4.4) but this is miles 2 low and will be replaced for either a 3.7 or a 3.9 ratio, hoping 2 get a lsd in the near future and some twin 45 or 48 dcoe webers and possibly change the cam for a more lairy one!! should be getting repainted over christmas too, all it really needs is a good tidy up!! I took it 2 the pod and got a 15.8 quater mile.

sorry my mistake the carb i have fitted now is a dgas not a dgav as stated thought one of you old skool buff's would av spotted that!!

Anglias rock.

so much going on with the shape and thankfully kept the american features such as fins etc on a small scale. fun car with yank looks but no a yank tank.

don't see many and is a rare delight when you do.

put a welded diff in it now ran a 15.7 at shakesepeare county raceway yesterday witha a 4.1 ratio on street tyres, need 2 take the head off, as its only stage 2 vulcan, do some serious porting, skim it some more 2 up the compression ratio, change the cam for a bigger one, and whack sum carbs on it, this should gain me a second in a quater mile, what do you think gaz?

yes mate , the old pintos really shift with a high compression , hot cam and sidedraughts :woohoo: . It will sound the bollox as well luke but your welded diff will break your halfshafts with the new power level so best get a quaiffe atb diff for £400 . :thumb:

alrite mate was gunna wait n save 4 an lsd eventually, just welded atm for tempory measure!! got a nice 3.89 diff at home for the lsd

cheers got the car in bits now, started doin work on the old gal, took engine n box out need 2 do some bulkhead mods 2 get the sidedraughts 2 fit and get it painted n that.
