Capri Daily Driver cost.

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a capri as a daily driver. I am looking at getting something like a 1980 upwards car. 2L preferred in reasonable condition. What would a car like this cost me. (Anyone have a black 2.0S for sale).

You should be able to pick something up for under a grand with a bit of looking. Though if you want it as a daily driver it may be sensible to convert it to efi to make it more economical.

I am more of an Escort person and do not have any experience with the Capri. Are there any particular things to look out for when buying one. Strut top rust, wheel arch rust, front wings.
