I have just purchased a LDV LWB High top 2.5L TD Van which I am going to equip as a sevice van for my racing. I am conteplating offering an on event back up for the OSFSC as and when i can if Dates dont clash. Just gauging an intrest as to how many of you would like me to turn up and help out on the day (Obviously a small cost would be involved to cover expenses) for set up etc?

Good idea Andy. It would be just good to have some experienced people around to help guide the novices through their first scrutineering sessions & timed runs etc.

Make sure you bring you car too. Early entry to events is a must, if you are to get some runs. The more the merrier:clap: :)

I intend to, like i say if the events dont clash with my race meetings. I have just got to try and get my car log booked

Getting it log-booked will be no problem, you just need to get it looked at by a Nat A scutineer, fill in a form and give him some money and a photo taken from the front showing a 3/4 veiw,he'll give you a receipt which you can use as a log book until the proper one arrives in the post. The car must bear an identifying mark (number plate or chassis number).

That makes it harder but you can still get an msa log book, one way is if you've got a v5 for the car;) you can just stamp the vin no onto an inner wing or the msa can give it an identifying mark which takes longer. You need to talk with a scrutineer in your locality,I've had a look in the blue book and apparently any Nat B or Nat A Car scrutineer can do the log book, there's a list in said blue book btw.
