Ive got the xe to go in my sunbeam (ive noticed there is a few on here) and its had the dizzy removed and the waterpipe outlet under it removed,(for balance and clearance issues) and the carb inlet has no waterways in it at all - been in a mk2 escort previously

so im wondering wont that cause heat spots? as far as i can tell all i get is the thermostat and waterpump connections?

can anyone tell me what the routing normally is in this situation, for the life of me i cant rember what the score is with inlet manifolds and waterways

Thanks

I ran one in my manta on 45's with no heater and no manifold waterways, I had it on the road for about a year with no heat problems...

So as far as I know, your fine with just the rad connections.

i removed the outlet from the back of the engine for clearence and put an outlet into one of the core plugs in the head in between carb manifold.
