It has been Kevlar, Carbon, GRP and now is 4mm Exterior Ply, well glassed in! Should last as I am only doing a few this season.

If you see something resembling Sasquatch driving a multi-coloured CRX, wish him luck!
(That's my dad, in my car )

I think he broke it. We had a chat and something to do with selecting 2 gears at the same time.
So did it snow?
And how did everyone get on?
It did Snow, not enough to settle.
The White Mk1 Escort and Mk1 Cortina looked like they were having a lot of fun.
Bernard was having fun too in his RS2000 spaceframe. I enjoyed my first visit.
BUT
The timing gear was playing up all day, and in the afternoon it was 51% fast, which meant that a 100 second run was shown as 150 seconds.
Really spoilt the day, as timings were all over the shop, Bernard has a no time recorded on 1st practice. And the FTD was a new lap record, but it didn't stand due to the problems.

I said those kerbs were hard! Hit them well enough on the last run to throw the battery out of it's carrier and under the left rear at c120 mph! Red Tops DON'T BOUNCE!
Red Tops DON'T BOUNCE!
They dont hold their charge either. I'll be trying to bounce mine in to a skip. :)
Nice shots - looks like you all had fun - except for the timing fiasco. Think someone will be getting the sack before the event next year:D
Any of you doing Gurston next?
