thought a topic on your old band names might keep some interested.my mate at work years ago had a skinhead/oi band called 'jack slaughters daughter' more fighting than singing was the norm :crazy:

My lads last band was called Red, new one is called The Substitutes, and he's only 10-years old!! Should have a gig down my local tonight but guitarist has sprained his thumb playing tag-rugby.....Gonna be touch and go whether they play or not. This will be their third gig in 2 weeks and they have another booked for Wednesday next week, must try and get some new video footage up, their version of Sweet Child o mine is awesome.

The band i'm in at the moment is called 'Jackhammer'. The singer is called Jack, you see..

We play classic rock - Beatles, Steelers Wheels, Free, Bryan Ferry, Cream, etc

My uncle Tony was in a band called "Angela Rippons Bum" many moons ago :rolleyes:, It was a skinhead come punk band in the late seventies.
Apparently she wasnt best pleased with the name.

That's a good band name until you make it to the big time where it would inevitably become a mill stone around your neck.

I have a feeling our band name will change back to Shades Of Blue if we replace the current singer with the old singer. Band politics..

we won battle of the band a few years going, also made a cd!

First ever band was Munkey Punk. Shit name and we were appropriately shit as a group.
