Some great battles across the classes this weekend.

Saturday started wet which was a good thing for the outclassed rally cars in sports libre. The radicals & bike engined stuff being so light had problems with traction, but the tin tops managed good times being heavier and able to cut through the wet surface.

I had a good dice with a Chevette which could have gone either way posting times in the 64s

Gavin had some good competition on Sunday in Mod prod with newbie to the venue Karl in a very tidy and quick silver MK2 with pinto power. It was dry so we all had a chance to lean on the tyres a bit more. Some of us using the banks at the exit of the last corner "rally style" There was a nice ermine white Mk1 and a red MK1 mexico in amongst the field of regulars.:)

Were you in Sports Libre or ModProd Windy? My dad commented on your car, saying how good it looked. He was in 3b, a multicoloured CRX?

Windy's a legend in that Escort, hard to beat in most conditions.

I'm out at MIRA this Saturday, and there's 3 Radicals in Sports Libre. I'll be taking the really big brave pills in the morning.

He he, good to hear!

We had a stupid conversation about tyre pressures in the wet, and I told him simply to drive faster. He did.
