I have read about copper cored HT leads which can be used instead of the more commonly used resistor type leads. They don't appear to offer any supression but are there any benefits to running the copper leads on a tuned pinto mainly used for track days.

no not that i can see, even cars that used coper leads used spark plug caps with resiters, without resistors, even if you dont have an ecu or ignition amp that the ht leads could interfear with you certainly have a radio or everyone near your car will notice the TV interferance

Fair enough, I'll go and get some good quality "Normal" leads then, any that you would recommend?

I've got some cheapo motor factors leads at the moment but when the engines running I get a small shock when touching the king lead is this just poor quality or is it normal to get a little bit of static build up on the leads?
I was a little worried about buying another set of cheap leads if this is a problem.
