Ok- this is my first attempt at this so I thought I would show what I was doing as I went along. People can then comment on what I did wrong and others learn from the mistakes.
Firstly I left the slam panel in place. I then purchased one of these

I think there is a time limit on editing after the intial post, something like 20 min
David
As David says, there is a time limit. It is within 10 minutes of posting.
If you are desperate you can always ask a mod to do it. :thumb:

thanks people was getting a bit frustrated, what did I do wrong so that my pic didn't show up? I have the rest of them to post?
Dunno but you need to replace '<' + '>' with '[' + ']' at the beginning/end of code.:thumb:

Weld it back in the same places it was before. :thumb:

thanks dave!!
should I tack it from the top or drill some holes in the top panel then spot weld / plug?
I haven't ever done a slam panel, so not sure, but I think I would tack from underneath.
Personally I wouldn't drill and plug the front panel, I would tack from behind that too.
Fit the slam panel first then the front panel.
And I meant tack in the same places it was spot welded. Not just put it back where it was. :D

Got it in on saturday but wasn't happy with the fit- tried again sunday and with the aid of a large hammer fits- now just to weld it in - then the slam panel!
