just Got Secondhand Lumenition For V8 And I Am Not Sure On Two Wires
red-- I Take It This Should Be A Live Feed
black-- Earth
brown-- Should This One Go To Neg On Coil?
also What Coil Is Needed
i Found Wiring Diagram And They List A Violet Wire To Coil Not Brown

also Any Ideas Where I Can Get New Dizzy Drive Gear And The One For Cam Shaft ( Mine Took All The Teeth Off)
i Did Hear That Real Steel Do Them But They Look Like Cheap Cast And Not Machined

It says this on there also-"Please note that the Brown wire is a Violet wire on later units."

Real Steel-look at pages 6 + 10 under Rover V8, it says machined?

only trouble is that i have no teeth on end of cam, so not going to use it . big gav said he will flop over the car so now it runnig i will strip it and do all the body/welding & engine strip. just to go out and smack it all again
