Saphire ECU loom wirring

Hi all,

We only had the saphire 2L with fuel injection, this uses a loom with the injection side intergrated into the main loom. Does anyone have a diagram of the wires required connecting to run EFI in MK2 escort ?

Or would my only option be working it out from ECU box pinouts ?

Hi,

what year/model is the EFI?
With/without cat etc?
I did a few EFI into Mk1/2 conversion years ago; it's just a case of stripping the engine-loom and connecting it to the Escort-loom. On an early model EFI this is just a handfull of wires: +12v, earth, tach, ignition ...

Leon it would be a 88'sh model, non cat, 2L GLi saphire.

The granada loom is self contained with the 2 relays in it so for the sierra loom you'll need to insert the ECU and fuel pump relays, there used to be a page on http://www.luegosportscars.com explaining how to do the sierra loom but it's dissapeard, maybe email em?
