Hi guys iv just finished fitting a spacer kit to my mk2 rs2000 to allow it to run vented discs and the hubs are fowling the calipers a little, has anyone else had this issue and whats the best way to rectify it, grind the caliper a little or my preffered option at the moment fit washeres between the disc and hub to bring the hub out a little, thanks for any help.Heres some photoes showing the problem and that the caliper is central over the disc. Some variation in the hubs-calipers?

Personally I'd say that you need the caliper to run centrally in the disc, so I'd prefer to grind the caliper / hub.

I had the same problem on mine, i got some more washer to space the caliper back a little more on mine, still close but seems to be ok, plus i also used longer bolts as i wasn't happy with how far the standard lenght one's were going in

There are specific 2.8i length caliper bolts and spacers to compliment spaced calipers !These come as standard on capri 2.8i's so you should be able to pick some second hand ones up cheaply!

what iv done with mine was machine OD of hub down 2mm and put a 3x45 chamfer on the back face, then took a light skim off outside caliper casting with a flap disc and grinder.
thats left me with a 2-3mm gap.
might also space caliper back just to be sure.
