View Full Version : 330HP Cossie Engine ! Guess Who's :)
Ok I thought it was about time I got my hands dirty :)
Here are some pics of 2Quick4U's 330HP engine rebuild for his 3 Door Cossie. The engine had been renewed before; the block was a service unit from Cosworth, this was bored to 90.325mm and plateu honed to accept the +0.5mm Mahle pistons, the pistons were machined to a 7.8:1 profile and fitted to a set of resized and balenced rods. The crank was ground to its first undersize and 'A' meterial bearings used. An new uprated oil pump was fitted.
I always 'dummy build' my engine first to check all clearences, that way there will be no suprises and I can get everything machined and finished to my exact specification.
Enjoy :)

my laptop, always m8.
Although USA is a real technology backwater when it comes to getting free access, there are a few though but they run silly ad bars and stuff.
It's lovely out here, about 80 degrees yesterday, was in the pool till 11:30pm.
