just it's I live on the north Norfolk coast and wind is terrible sometimes
You shouldnt eat so much tomato ketchup, the wind might be calmer then :)

Update?
Not done any more yet, what with xmas weather and the mass of work that will plague me until everyones budgets are used up in march i dont get much time.
I am going to drop all the mechanics out the front next get the welding and painting done while I am sorting out the new low boost high comp 2.0 Zetec.
16psi IS LOW BOOST http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
Thats coolhttp://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gifI had a horrible feeling it was going to be something silly like 8psi
That will probably be enough for a nice road car.
Clint you doing a full zetec ??
I just miss the buzz......I want more speedhttp://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif(not the drug)......
yes slim http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
cool http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
How many horses do you reckon then ???
not so many horses but loads of torque.
These High comp ones are the nuts and not too dear the dearest bits are pistons and the management.
Do you want me to build 2 while I am at it ?
ah,
How much is "not too dear" ??
??? where did the pix go???
Rick.

any more been done to this little beatuty?
We are using it at the mo Tony, I have ordered a full set of door/ window rubbers, and the rest of the work is planned for late march early April.
Saturday:
Fitted New brakes, 4x4 cossie stylie all round.... that should stop her http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif The rear end was treated to a set of vented 278mm disks and calipers from an escort cossie a RS2000 handbrake cable was fitted complete with new hoses and some ferodo fast road pads, you can see the install here (http://users.turbosport.co.uk/cossieclint/s1rearbrakes/s1rearconv.htm>here.
The)
The new front anti rollbar brackets were fitted in place of the tie wraps http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gifhttp://media.turbosport.co.uk/2002/2/200221220430335598.jpg
I can supply these if interested for £40 the set.
Also the old door and boot rubbers had been letting in water over the rainey season and my new ones turned up today thanx to Mark so the two door rubbers and the boot rubber were promptly fitted, I am still waiting for one of the rear opening window rubber so I will wait and fit them both.
Sunday:
Time to bleed the brakes BUT after much messing about we concluded the 3 year stand and 130k miles on the clock has put paid to the master cylinder, so I will be chasing down a replacement tommorow, I will be looking at the differences between rear disked and drumed cars master cylinders to see if I can fit one more suited to the new all round disk setup.
I will need to tackle a possible biasing problem; for those technical minded the old S1 front calipers had a piston size of 54mm the new 4x4 ones are 60mm, the rear drums had a cylinder of aproximatly 20 mm and the new 4x4 cossie items are over double that at 43mm.
I will be trying to do a bit more next weekend so keep checking back http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
Looks the bolox Clint would that kit fit an S2? and keep us posted on the bias problemhttp://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/sad.gif do they have the same set up as an S2, i wouldn't mind fitting a rear disc conversion on mine but the bias hassle has put me off a bithttp://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/sad.gif Did you have any trouble fitting the kit, i fitted my bigger disc kit on the front of mine with out too much trouble, just the bleeding was a pain in the @rsehttp://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/blush.gif
They fit all Mk3 and Mk4 escorts orions etc.
I have now fitted a new AP master cylinder and have driven te car and to be honest I am not sure there is going to be much of a bias problem, I have confirmed that a 2.0i Sierra has the same bore master cylinder with these rear calipers so it wont be an issue with the master cylinder.
I will try and get out on a dry night this week and really get it tested but at worse I think a £40 bias valve in a single brake line on the rear will be all that is required.
I will keep you posted.
Nice one http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
