Sun Sparcs

I've just got some Sun Sparcs, 2's and 10's, complete with 21 inch Sun monitor.

Haven't had chance yet to see what spec they are yet, I'm too naked after carrying them all in.

If anyone is interested let me know and I'll sort out the spec's.

Prices around 40-60 quid.

Can the 21inch monitor be used with a PC as well as the Sun Unix boxes ?

What is the spec on those things ?

No, the Sparc screens will only work on the Sparc, unless there is a converter on the market which I don't know about.

The sparc 10's are just low spec system, only really any good for people wanting to learn Solaris.

What about the otherway round can a normal PC monitor be plugged in to a Sun Sparc 10 ?

I remember Operating Sun Sparc 10s in one of my ops jobs using Sunos/Solaris Unix. I would love to get hold of one but as yet i cant afford it.

£40-£60 for a Solaris Unix box i feel is better than buying Linux, because Solaris IS the most used version of Unix in I.T.
