Wiring loom for festa rs1800

I need a fuse box with or without loom/harness for a 1995 Fiesta RS1800 - car has factory alarm, air bags etc.

OK so no-one appears to have one on the planet! I've been told the 1.8 16V XR2i loom is very similar and should work most things. I don't suppose anyone can confirm this or has a spare XR2i loom? Any responses much appreciated.

Sorry mate can't help, but I take it you have tried Ford?? The cars not all that old so they may be able to help??

Is yours missing or just knackered??

I think Kieron is right they must still be available from Fords even if they need to do a dealer search.

Otherwise if you have the old one it must be fairly easy to get a xr2i one to compare.

The XR2i looms are the same as fiesta turbos.

An Electrician wired in an XR2i (8V) fuse box but the car won't start, No spark, it cranks etc. He said that he couldn't help any more and i should take it to Ford. I took the car to my local dealer (Lindsays Ford - Lisburn, N. Ireland) on the 25 Oct LAST YEAR!! they told me the car needed a new loom (Fuse box has been stolen when someone tried to nick the car- WHY!) They told me that the loom was still available and the car should be ready for collection in 4 days. 4 MONTHS later they eventually return my calls after i complained to ford complaints dept and said that the loom was discontinued (Did parts search) and that i was to come and collect the car. I asked for a wiring diagram and they stated that none was available. I rang Ford tech help (£1/Min) and they directed me to Lait storage that hold ford wiring diagrams - same thing - not available! I will be collecting the car from the dealer tomorrow, i was going to collect it today but they want to charge me 2 days labour for doing F**K ALL! I won't collect it until they look at this again. I don't want to scrap the car because of a fuse box! My Mate has a 12 year old Toyota and he still manages to get all his parts from the dealer - tells you someting about ford i think!
