Pictures speak a 1000 words and show the rebuild from all laid out prior to assembly through to engine being fully built to engine being fitted back into engine bay.
Breif spec is 200 block, 4x4 pistons, BD10 cams, 330bhp chip, 3 bar MS, -31 Act, 803's.

The Strut Brace will be refurbished when I take it off to do the replacement of the Spax sus. for the Koni's (can't get at the bolts with the Macpherson's in the way)

woooo how clean http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif just out of intrest if u got all the bits and a manual is really that hard to put one of these engines together?

wes

Not really hard, even I have built one! Everything MUST be 100% free of any dirt though.

Thanx for your kind comments guys.

Toppy - Wes said it all. But I would add that the manuals are worth their weight in gold. If you have not got them and there are none secondhand on here or the RSOC/BB then you might be able to get a set from either Burton Power, Woodford Motorsport, Graham Goode or the Club Merchandise dept. The are about £50 the pair.

Slim - Here's a few more

phwooaar, master surgeon! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/shocked.gif

Out of interest, whats the boss for on the side of the sump? Additional Sensors?

Looks like a drilled sump plug for the oil feed back from a breather system to me http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Ahhh, the old 'below oil level return' principle! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/cool.gif

Duplex, yeah m8 its for the oil temp sender. All the fittings came with the Autometer kit except for the boss.
A m8 of mine with an engineering business turned the boss out and Derek Pullen (RS200 owner) alloy welded
it in for me.

Very smart, that'll give you the best oil temp reading being in the main reservior. Any other senders been added? Have you got the pressure on the turbo oil feed?

Have you come across a Fuel regulator with a sender on it for fuel pressure? ...thats one of my big wants.

More gauges the better!..http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

No other extra senders fitted as yet but a fuel pressure gauge and a fuel/air ratio gauge are in the pipe line for fitting at a later date.
I did fit the Phantom Boost and Oil Pressure along with the Phantom Oil temp gauge in the centre vent.
Checkout Autometer's web site on www.autometer.com (http://www.autometer.com) they have a fantastic range of gauges to suit all tastes and aplications. They do the electric fuel pressure gauges that u are after. You have to fit a mechanical fuel pressure gauge outside the vehicle by law so its not very practical for a road car but the electric ones are OK.

PS
I fitted a T piece into the Oil pressure switch takeoff and took the feed to the Oil pressure gauge
from there. (Got the correct size T piece from Martyn @ NOMAD at one of the shows)

No problem its a pleasure m8. If u decide to get some try Bren @ Apex, his prices are very good, although
I did not get mine from him (he was'nt doing them at the time).
