Hi,

I am a Mex owner from Finland. I am restoring my car and one thing to do is bottom painting. I'dd like do it proper way so that the color is original.
My problem is, how and where to get the color code about the bottom. It's kind of brow/green mixture now, and I think that this should be the original color.
Man at the colorshop need's the code before he can shake the color for me. Even the name of this color would help me. The car is 73 Mexico with elecric blue body.

Hi mate
From what I can understand it sounds that you are trying to suggest that the motor is two tone, and they never made mk1-2 mexicos is two tone colours. Your best bet is to contact AVO (Advanced Vehicle operations) of kent and exchange a chassis number or registration number
