Me too, I would be looking for a second hard one, if they didn't hold their value so much, and they didn't have a little fuel tank http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/sad.gif

Gorgeous indeed, you can't get a Evo 6 for uner 19k and that's one that a few years old! Blooming prices pah!

Fasterfords whats all this about a small fuel tank?

FF_Mark
27-02-2002, 10:47
Its got something like a 50 litre fuel tank, which mean less that 200 miles per tank, normally around 140 miles http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/shocked.gif

I was driving along a local road the other day when I looked at a car coming in the other direction, I started dribbling at what was an Evo 6 but then noticed it looked like it had a roof rack, then I realised it was a supercop cruiser!! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gif They totally grinned as they noticed me checking out the car. Totally clean at the front with the only give away being the slimmest light pod I 've seen. Of course from the back it was all yellow and orange hatching, right up the spoiler and everything. I must say I had a bit of a jaw drop when I realised what it was....and wondered how good a race it would be LOL..not!

So what can you do to one of these with 20k ?

Cryptwalk
04-07-2002, 17:56
I presume your asking what can you do to an evo?
I'd say more a case of what carn't you do for 20k. http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wink.gif

£3000 buys you a greddy 25g turbo with external wastegate good for 500bhp.

Best place to look is www.rcdevelopments.co.uk (http://www.rcdevelopments.co.uk)
They do some good tuning packages. They have a demo car that runs near 500bhp on standerd internals and has done for the past year reliably.

20k should see you in one of the fastest evo's in the uk http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Get one clint, you know it makes sense.:D.

If your refering to the scoob that has 20k spent on it, I dont know thats what the owner told me but it does have all the trimmings.

What's the difference between a Evo6 and a Evo 6 GSR?

prox
23-07-2002, 20:01
there is a The EVO6 RS and the Evo GSR
The RS comes with no electrics at all ne windows/ cent locking / abs no Air con very basic seats no boot liners comes with steel wheels from japan (but most of them are changed to OZ) it come with a closer range gearbox,

Basically it is a car ready to Rally

The GSR is more of a nicer car http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Magrah
24-07-2002, 07:56
Prox sorry to be dumb but does that mean that there are only 2 types i.e. Evo 6 RS and GSR no just Evo 6? Seen allot of non GSR Evo's for sale prefer the GSR by the sounds of it.
