Did you see Schu cut Montoya up at the start at Malaysia GP? Montoya gets a better start so Schu decides to swerve over and block him. Montoya leaves enough room for Schu to get round the first corner but as he can't take the correct line as he's just cut Montoya up he goes into him!
Montoya gets a drive through penalty and Schu is the victim, can Schu get away with anything? It appears that what ever he does is ok not matter what!
Did anyone see different, was i just still drunk from the night before, did I not have my glasses on???

As for the contact, well I think thats 50/50. Montoya closed the door (payback for the start). If Montoya had given some room they both would have made the corner and Montoya would have been in the lead, and if schuey had backed off the same applies, the incident wasn't important though, the important thing is the officials made a mistake by penalising Montoya, that was a 50/50 accident.
And how can Martin Brundle say that Ralf was driver of the day? Funny how his "driver of the day" is always the guy that wins the race................. Micheal was easily driver of the day, pitted on the 1st lap for a new nose cone, rejoined LAST and ended up 3rd, the best driver out there by miles, even though he's German, but no-ones perfect http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/jester.gif
True, but that was the whole point, Montoya did leave enough room and the only reason Schu could not get his car round the bend is as he took the wrong line as he was too busy cutting Montoya up. Hence Schu should have backed off to avoid the collision. How much room does he want? How wide did he want Montoya to go? Should montoya have just gone round the far side of the bend?
Montoya gave him enough so they could both go round but Schu didn't want to brake that hard hence he went into Montoya.
Montoya's penalty was well unfair, you can not deny that he gets away with every incident no matter what Wes year after year?
Driver of the race, well I think it was jenson Button, very unlucky not to get on the podium, and kept his cool with Schu closing on him, managed to pretty much keep him at bay until his engine probs.

Could not agree with u more Rajiv.
Lets take a quick look back at his past incidents
1.Takes Damon Hill out in Australia, penalty ? I know lets award him the World Championship.
2. Takes HH Frentzen out, (cant remember where), penalty ? I know lets make him tour German schools giving talkes on Road Safety. (good bit of PR that).
3. Car dies on the grid at Hockenhiem last year, Burti runs into the back of him. Race is 2 laps old, officials stop the race and even though he is out of the race he is allowed to restart in the spare car.
4. Shu jnr runs into the back of Rubens in Australia carnage results in the first bend 8 cars out, Schu snr still going at the front, I know lets bring out the safety car. SOD the other drivers that are out and running back to the pits and who cares about all the spectators that have paid good money to see a motor race.
5. Montoya gets the better of him at the start in Malaysia in spite of his agressive start. (if he'd stayed straight he would have been on the right line for the bend and beaten WPM maybe !) as it was, he decides to drive into Montoya (if it was understeer how come his wheels where pointing to the left ?)
Schu comes off worse than Montoya so what do the officials do ?, give Montoya a drive through penalty that will give Schu a fighting chance. As it was Montoya STILL BEAT HIM.

Closely followed by Jenson (he really deserved a podium place) and Bernoldi for having the quote Audacity unquote to overtake Schumacher.

Don't forget how he rammed Jacques Villenerve in the last race of the seanon a few years back. I know he gets preferential treatment in F1, but thats down to official brown nosing and money. Magrah m8 you can't deny he is the best driver out there, Montoya had a drive through penalty, where Schuey had to drive 3/4 of a lap with no front wing, come in to the pits, stop, and get a new nose cone fitted, then rejoined last and came 3rd, OK Jenson was unlucky not to have got 3rd, but still, the point is the officials made a mountain out of a mole hill, thats what most people are pissed about, and I agree. I personally agree with what Montoya said in the press conference, that schuey understeered into him, he could have backed off, Montoya could have given more space, it's 50/50, both drivers could have avoided that from happening, but i guess when your racing you just want to win at any costhttp://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Damon Hill - He did get a fine though I think it was $30,000, wow break that bank, as if it matters to someone earning in excess on $45 million.
Yeah I remember Hockenheim last year, what a joke the race was well under way.
Did you see the press conference afterwards?! Montoya tried to play it down to be one of those things and Schuey says "people have got away with a lot worse and nothing has happened" yeah Schuey you talking about yourself mate look in the mirror!
Bottom line is that as much as I don't like to admit it he is a great driver (wes i was writing this when you'd replied) so he does not need all this special help.

Yeah but although Coulthard won that race, he then got disqualified for cheating, Mclaren altered the height of on side of the front wing so it sat at an angle (as you looked at it from left to right when facing the front of the car).
