With launch control..
Is it worth it?

I've been quoted £1500 (minus 10% if I get some good advertising!). It seemed like a good toy to aim for later in the year. I cannot for the life of me remember his name but one chap on this BB with a 500bhp cossie was commenting on it. Seemed like a good idea if you didn't want to always have a white knuckle ride whilst driving in the wet.

Dum de dum.... bit of throttle on a roundabout = http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gif

I think it is a good idea on a big power 2wd car, because you are always going to have problems putting down 500 BHP through 2 wheels, but I don't know about a car pumping out 330BHP, maybe you shouldn't wear lead lined shoes when it's raining Sapphy http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif You can get little launch control boxes (from Armtech) for about £100, i've got one and it is worth every penny, but be warned, you'll break something eventually!

That would have been me or Rod Tarry then as we both run Racelogic traction control.
My setup also has launch control and full throttle shift.http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Excellent in the wet and for powering out of corners.

Price is dependant on whether you need 4 cyl or 8 cyl version (You need 8 cyl version if you are running 8 inj.).

Hi Derek,
Yes it was you I was thinking of when I enquired after it. As Wes points out I will 'only' be running 330bhp when I get my car back so it probably is a tad un-necessary - especially as I try not to take it out too much in the rain.

It must be a nice toy to have though http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hi Sapphy,

Yep, it's good fun and inspires much more confidence that the car isn't going to suddenly try and reverse direction on you!! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
