With a bit of luck I may be able to fill that little hole in the back?? http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif A little bit of filler and you would never know!
Can you spot the Technical Adjuster tools that we are using to straighten the wings?? http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

You got your work cut out mate, very nice garage by the way, wnat to rent it out!
Tell me about it!! Those picture were taken before we started last night and the panel is now on! We will hopefully be finishing it off tomorrow.??
Unfortunalely the gargae is my mates and theres not a lot of room there! The S1 on axle stands is my old one. There are also two more escorts lurking around, a notchback VW, 2 309 Gti's and a 205GTi..........phew!
Kieron
bloody hell that is full, look forward to more pics (PS you may have noticed i'm bored again!)

Should it look too much of a bitch I can sell the wheels & plate etc to get my money back!
Kieron
Kieron,
Did you buy it to make some money? Just out of interest.
Hurry up and get bored of it so I can have the wheels http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Mag, I have known of the car for about 5 years as it was a mate who had it! When he smacked it up I took the opportunity to get me mucky little mits on it! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif I am planning on keeping it as my runaround if all turns out OK with the welding???? If it looks a pig tho I can't see any problems with making a couple of quid out of it! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Guy, £500??? http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif Only kidding mate, if all goes well they will be staying on the car..

Although Clint may have some left from his S1 http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Looking good mate, you make it look easy!
Nice job Kieron, I must admit that when I saw the first pictures I was wondering if it'd be worth the effort - could I have been more wrong?! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/blush.gif
Also according to tRevs, the first thing to do to BMW's (the article referred to the M3 E30) is lower them. Apparently a multi-billion pound company hasn't got a clue what its doing whilst ripspeed are well clued up...http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/crazy.gif
Its a nice cheap runaround for £250 all in!! Defo worth it, even if its just for the experience!
I have already got the lights & number plate in place so all I have left to do is grind the welds back. Filler a little and paint!
I will put some more pictures up after the weekend!
Kieron
Just got back from the scrappy and got a few more bits..
Rear bumper, boot catch, bonnet & boot badges, sunroof winder, m-tech gear knob couple of bit of broken trim and a set of headlamp eyebrows. All for £8!!!! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif I love scrap yards! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Should this rain ever let up I may be able to finish it off!
Kieron
are they 2 series 1s in the back ground????http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
Only one I'm afraid Daz, B932 XYE. Its the one in the garage on axle stands currently undergoing a full resto! The other is an XR3i
