thanx m8. if anybody has any more info ? i could use all the advice i can get!! the motor is a clean 1 and has no rattles. any one know if i can adapt the rear disc conversion to fit me mk1 as it has the usual drum inside the disc so the handbrake is easy to sort and doesnt need a master cylinder to work it.

Andy,

The company you need to call are SBD (SB Developments) on 0208 391 0121.. They are the experts of fitting these engines to MK1 & 2 Escorts and can sell you all the kit needed.

Check out May 2000 Classic Ford for an article of a MK2 with one fitted.. There have been other ones featured since but this article has all the gumph on SBD I think?? If you haven't got the mag let me know and I'll bring it along to the next RS meet with me
