What colours did the 4x4 sapphire cosworth come in? I'm after one soon, and although moonstone is my fave, i am partial to black and flint grey. Thing is, i was reliably informed they only made 25 factory black ones, so i dont see much chance of getting one in black. But what about smoketone? i always thought smokestone was posh ford talk for black, but on seeing some pictures im not too certain, it looks a bit blue.
All help much appreciated, ta.
Steve.

Smokestone is a very dark met blue. It's alot rarer than Ebony Black.A friend of mine has a K plate ebony one for sale.Trouble is it needs a bit of engine work http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/sad.gif

thanks for that. I'll stick to moonstone blue or flint grey then. How much/what sort of work does your mates motor need?

It's done 98,000 miles and is VERY tired. It does have a full history but hasn't been looked after very well.It needs new front discs too and the gearbox is as floppy as feck. Not the nicest example really http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/sad.gif

Sorry m8,I don't wanna get involved in his car. It's been stood on his drive for 18 months and he'll still want about £5k for it.I'll tell him there is interest on here, but other than that,it's up to him.
Sorry I can't be more helpful,but that's the best I can do.

Fair do's. I like the look of the smokestone - now i've seen a few more pictures of one - i'm liking. theres a nice lookin one on the RSOC BB for 4495 with 130,000 on the clock, and its standard and runs really well apparently. mmm. worth a lookie see... i want!!
