are totally useless.

Not car related I know but worth remembering:

I ordered £2ks worth of carpets, underlay and fittings on the 11th November on the premise that it was essential that they were fitted before Christmas.

I must've phoned 4 times over the coming weeks and spoken to the manager each time who kept on saying anytime now. After 3 weeks I caught him when he was on holiday and spoke to an assistant. He said I should've received them by now and when off to check what was happening. Apparently they were delivered two weeks previously but were sent back due to being faulty, delivery was now expected to be in February. http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/mad.gif Why did the manager not tell me this? http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wall.gif

I cancelled the order and 4 weeks on still haven't had a refund. They have now just cost me £38.58 in interest on my credit card.

I instead went to the Carpet Warehouse, a small shop in Rugby. He ordered, and fitted out my entire house with carpets in 6 days, with better carpet and underlay and cost £200 less than carpet right.

How can such a big firm be so incapable of supplying carpets? http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/shit.gif

Because Sapphy my friend they have forgotten what service is. Like all big company's they expect ya to go to them because its easier. Thats the kinda stuff that drives me insane. http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/mad.gif

Absolutely right Marshall, I've been saying exactly the same in recent weeks. These big companies have been nothing but grief, whereas the smaller ones, who rely on you for their bread and butter just seem to give consistantly excellent service. I've learnt a lesson recently - it's not the size or image of a company that's so important, better that they are small but well established. http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Its funny you should say that, my girlfriend had exactly the same thing happen, carpet was meant to be laid before christmas, carpet was faulty, will have to be laid after christmas! Again the manager seemed to know nothing and never phoned back. Sounds like they get the business but then can't be bothered. They have now been laid but about 2 months late!
I definately wont be buying my carpets from them.
