Chrysler Group Chief Operating Officer Wolfgang Bernhard motors along the stage aboard the brand-new Dodge Tomahawk V-10, 8.3-liter (505 cubic inch) concept motorcycle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 6, 2003. The Tomahawk features four-wheel independent suspension, and the superbike's engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel it at speeds of nearly 400 mph

400mph bolx, it would never stay on the ground.
Why wouldnt it stay on the ground ?
The bike land speed record does sit at 350ish MPH I think so with its fairing on and all them cc's it certianly has the umph http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
Wolgang is a bit of a lad isn't he?
what i would like to know is, wheres the bloody fuel tank, it sure aint above the engine, and if it is i dont think it would be very good for more than a trip to the shops, and saying that, i doubt theres much space under the seat for a loaf and two pints of milk
Probably doesn't qualify for the bike speed record as it has 4 wheels!! Looks crazy! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/shocked.gif

I saw an article the other day in MCN about this. What looks like the fuel tank is actually the airbox for the engine! WHat look like headlights are air intakes! The lights are inbetween the front wheels using LEDS. Both rear wheels are chain driven and have a diff! Whats more, it doesn't have any form of power steering. ALso it can only lean over 45 degs before grounding. Sounds like theres going to be a limited run of 100. but there are some additional things needed before it's road legal, like a silencer! Apparantly the V10 engine has an exhaust approx 2 ft long with no silencer! WOW that must be damn loud! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gif
