Depends if you have the correct group on your license, its an option when you sent it off, you can normally drive a 125 on L plates on a full car license unless you didn't tick the box when you sent it off.

sorry mate rules have changed. You have to do a cbt first. Cost around £80 last a day. Only then can you ride a 125. You can ride a 50cc moped restricted to 30mph on a car license with no l plates though (unless they have changed that and all).
I thought it was 50cc too Carl but then I wasnt sure http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/crazy.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/crazy.gif But you must know as your are the Biker http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif
carl's right all changed
you have to take cbt and written test
depending your age and when you
passed your driving test
I thought that if you had it on your license before the law changed you can still ride one.
From 1 January 1997 all learner moped and motorcycle riders irrespective of when a licence was issued must have completed a Compulsory Basic Training [CBT] course before riding a moped or motorcycle on the road.
The CBT is valid for 2 years, then you have to do it again.
To apply for your written test you need to show your valid CBT certificate.
To apply for the practical test you need to show a valid CBT AND Written test certificate.
