HI There

This was definatley 1984 as we were on a day trip from Liverpool after our finals at university in Bangor.

The boat left Liverpool at about 3am and when we arrived we had the greasiest greasy spoon breakfast I have ever eaten and set off along the course backwards looking for somewhere to spectate.

This picture was taken at the very tight downhill entry hairpin just before the end of the lap (the name of which escapes me - Governors Bridge perhaps).

The guy must have been in some kind of historic class, I wasn't (still aren't) very into bikes so I just photograhphed whatever came round. So as to who it was I have no idea.

I think the main race of the day was the Production TT.

We got back to Liverpool well after mindight and to my surprise my car was still parked on the dockside where I'd left it.

The thing I liked most about this picture was the flies on the visor, and the light reflecting of the tank under his chin.
