I see that 2quick4u is converting quite a few MK1 and MK2 Escorts to five-link rear suspension. And it seems quite a bit of work too (very nice work too).
But my point is: Why not make it fully independent while you're at it. Can't be that much more work.
Or is it a good reasonm why it's done the way it is ? (I suppose it is..)
