What look for my RST

Its probably going to have an S1 kit fitted, partly to help hide the new arches, and partly to look a bit different.

Its going to stay grey but I fancy some stripes or a different colour mainly over the rear arches.

and how about white wheels ??

Anyone got any good ideas ???????????????

you cant have white wheels on a silverey blue car, imo white wheels only look good on dark blue or red cars, i honestly think you should leave it clean, mk3/4 escorts have a really nice style as standard and dont suit lairy paint jobs and race style livery, by all means fit the s1 kit but pretty pretty plees keep it one colour, how about FRP blue, just to keep the memories alive, and deffo get rid of those five spokes, they are honkin, or what about ford tasman blue, thats the colour of my escort http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wink.gif

Bin all the 2tone paint ideas. Either use the colour it is, or go for a colour change to something different ie cherry red, its a dark red metallic colour and looks pukka. As for the s1 kit, if you can find one do it but just the arches and skirts, and keep your old bumpers i think. two tone always sounds DAMAGE alarm bells to something to hide go for the 1700 rst look they still make the kits
i think MC RALLING and FIBERSPORTS still do them

cmon now dave, its not a BRG montego gti we're talkin about, this is an rst, gold alloys look rediculous enough on scoobs, on an rst it would be motoring sacrilage

The wheels will be changed for some 16" Mondeo items when I can find some and afford it.

As for the mondeo rims, go for it they do look cool, but i would go for the proper escort cossie ones if they fit cos they are the dogs http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/drool.gif there is some mk5 escort cab round here with them and it looks kinda sweet.

I think the cos ones are too wide and stick out past the bodykit, and I want to run it pretty low.

Keep it grey,anthracite wheels (something 'motorsport' like comp MO's or racelines),clears front and side,smoked lenses on the rear,s1 kit with '90 spec bumper,cup mirrors and a nice big shiny intercooler stickin out the front!

That RST is lovely, but, IMO, a standard looking RST looks much better. And cup mirrors may look good, and are extremely beneficial if you never look in the fookers.

IMO the best ever s2 was a black one in performance ford about 18 months ago? It had 17in mondeo RS alloys polished. Saff cossie leather recaros. It also had the front bumper cut out. You really dont need to go mad when doing these up. The original shape is nice already.
