15 Years ago I had a MK3 Cortina 2000E at the time I worked crank regrinding for an engineering shop it was 12 miles away and I ended up sticking a rod through the block on the dual carriageway whilst going to work, it wasnt the first car that I blew up on the way to that job ironic really.

Anyway I decided to break the car and a work buddy of a friend of mine was restoring one and wanted most of the bits, he said at the time (15 years ago) he would come and show me when it was done and I hadnt seen him since.
Well he turned up on my doorstep today and here is his car http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Blimey that's gorgeous. One of the very last Mk3's too, when they went over to the MK4 type dash. Bet it sounds nice too http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Oh I do love those old Mk3's
Very nice indeed. Though the round headlights would finish it off nicely. I don't know why ford saw fit to change to the spoony looking rectangular jobs.
