You'd have to ask clint which one it is, it came with a ford boss already as part of it.

It does feel and look a lot nice that the std crap one, you can also see the lower part of the dash now (speaker control etc..) which could be handy for mounting gauges or warning lights http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

ACT guage was a peice of cake to fit apparantly. I didn't fit mine http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif. Was that steering wheel really a mission to fit tho ?

FF_Mark

Had to make up some new wires with spade connectors on the ends for the horn, then when I put it together they shorted out on the wheel and the horn was on all the time http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/mad.gif so I had to change them to some right angle connects to clear. Then the slack was stopping the horn from going on.

I guess its not too bad, just more work than I thought.

FF_Mark
18-05-2003, 16:49
I'm not doing the fuel tank, the guy who is welding it needs to take the old one out, so he's putting the new one back in.

FF_Mark

Can't remember, think it was less than £40 from Mike Rainbird.

How much £52 quid, do you get a free blow job with that?
That is complete overkill for what you are getting, you can get exactly the same thing at Halfords for under a score, i mean what should be expensive about a temp reader with a long wire and temp sensor on the end of it
