Looking sweet mate! I have been pondering over some of them compression struts meself.
Why did you have to chop the sump by th eway mate? I am hoping that mine will fit under the WCXM as two other lads have used them with no bother...fingers crossed!!

That is off the hook mate!
Dave
I found that my sump would touch on hard pull away and gear changes, it might have been ok but decided not to risk it and it was a good excuse to get it big winged. I also took the rear lip off the cross member and seam welded it just to make sure.
Lee
Very nice Lee, well done mate!!

Nice one mate car looks good have you got any more pics of the car as I have and X-Pack also and my vents on the side of the car are cut out but want to fill them with something either vents or block them up all together. I think the original kit had them tottally block up, correct me if I am wrong.

That last post was me for some reason it is not posting my name!! any ideas http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/confused.gif
OK it seemed to log me out when I was 100% logged in but let's try again
Sorry but again i don't see why people are modding the sump, you are taking more oil out of the engine That can't be a good thing.
Here is mine.
http://www.derbyshire-rsoc.co.uk/images/cars/RS/userscars/kia/3sump1.jpg
Its modded on the lip down to old crossmember putting a groove into it.
http://www.derbyshire-rsoc.co.uk/images/cars/RS/userscars/kia/3sump3.jpg
Another point of reference, ARP head and rod bolts aren't as strong or as good as standard Cosworth Ones, these will take over 600bhp.
My Sump now holds more oil than it did before?
I have heard than said about the ARP bolts, but I have not had a problem with mine.
Thanks for the positive coments.
Lee
I wasn't trying to be funny Lee, just saying like.
