It really depends on what fuel pressure the chip has been mapped for. Normally though standard fuel pressure is used. Worth getting it checked though.
Better safe than sorry.

At least you'll be able to nail it with confidence http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Any "proper" off the shelf chip will run std fuel pressure...just be certain yours hasnt dropped below, should read 52psi with no vacuum.

I had my 4x4 Sapphy setup by MAD, October last year and he upped the fuel pressure by .5 bar

Hope this helps, at the end of the day you dont want it to lean out at the top end http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/cry.GIF

Is that half a bar as in 7.5 psi? http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/clint.gif..I do hope you have proper braided fuel lines with aero quip fittings..or you risk a fire..LOL.

I got my Chip from Stu, so should be ok, he did say in his instructions that the pressure should stay std,

but i wanted to know cos when i take it to the tuners and they try to up it and can say.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...dont touch http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

You can buy fuel pressure gauges fairly cheaply. Speaking of which I must get round to getting one myself.

I always set the fuelpres to 3Bar with vac pipe on and 3.5Bar with vac pipe off/blocked.also check fuel flow,4.5l over 80secs if memory serves correct.all info from mountune. puddy

so who ever mapped the chip you have to set fuel pressure accordingly ?
