Whose do I use?

Clints (£40) or Mike Rainbirds (£47 del)????

I have the pages Clint done for fitting his, and they look good, and I ain't seen Mikes....

Do either tof these kits contain braided hoses, or just the brackets and hardware to fit em?

Any ideas?

I reckon Clints cos they come with all the bits, and are cheaper ( http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif )

Question: Why do I need to tap the original threads out to 12mm if I am using a bracket? Couldn't you have use the original 10mm thread? Just cos I am not a master of the tap-bit....

i think you need to tap a thread so then they both have threads, none of them would come with braided hoses at that price (although i have some knocking about for a S1) i think they both come with the bolts though?

Yeah, I didn't think they'd come with braided lines, just me being hopefull http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Just r-read the page Clint done ofr the conversion and I understand now! You are right Russell... Good, means I don't have to drill it out, just tap it... Get me mate to do that I reckon, just so I don't fuck it up, lol...

Yeah, think I will be getting Clints stuff, just wanted peeps advice really, as I know he is the honcho on this BB, but if one product is genuinely better than the other it is always good to know http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Russ- Will the S1 hoses fit the S2 callipers? I know my original 3i calipers are the same as S1 calipers, so I presume that if my std hoses will fit, so will the S1 braided ones.....???

Well I bought um of mike today cause he is local and i know from christian they work well and fit easily. If you are doing the upgrade surely now is the time for braided hoses so get a pair of series 2.

why not just go for 4wd cossie calipers and 2wd discs as they bolt straight on

Cos this is only on the 3i, and I'm on a budget... I ca nget the discs and pads cheap via my bro (works at motorfactors) and the calipers I am getting free from another mate...
