My missis is in need of a new clutch but not sure what one to go with, either the AP 4 paddle or the Alcon 6 paddle?

It has about 250bhp

she won't be your friend if you get a 6 paddle clutch
they are good for the power but not that road user friendly
they are either on or off

The four is okay in city traffic, A&p about £265 but if its a series 1 go for the bigger flywheel and series 2 clutch cause its bigger.

AP 4 Paddle is fine for that power. But alcon one is supposed to be softer on the leg.

Thanks Lads,

The RST has a AP 4 paddle init at the mo but wondered what the 6 paddle will be like as the 4 is still on or off.

I found the 4 paddle AP clutch very usable. Bit heavy on the leg but very slippable, not as on/off as you'd think. IMHO http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

TBH with your estimated 250 bhp "wink wink" you wont have a problem with a std clutch, as they are good for a genuine 220 bhp !!! as yours has http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/jester.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/jester.gif
