most powerful series one

What is the most power you can get out of a series one rst engine, ie with say 2.1-2.2 zetec bottom end like sunny runs on his fessie.

A series 1 was never fitted with a zetec engine so no, as far as this question goes you cannot count anything other than the 1600cvh

Sunny's is a zetec block

You can get as much as you can afford out of a 1.6 S1 CVH. Its the top end that is the restriction, not the bottom end.

most genuine so far out of a 1.6cvh has been 286bhp

The most powerful S1 that i know of is a local person to me, Current PF feature, 300+bhp on a 1600 CVH

they are basically the same shell
everything on a s2 will fit a s1

The most ive heard of out of the 1600 is the 300 bhp PF cover car but the most powerful RST ive seen is that one someone posted on here was that 388 bhp 2ltr 16v S2
