Bonjour

I think I have an air lock, but I am not sure. How do I check and remove the lock?

I think I have one because for a few days the car was fine, kept itself cool and never above halfway, recently tho, its been getting really hot, and staying that way. Like always above halfway, even on cruising down the motorway its been running hotter.

I replaced the header tank cap, and I got no water or air leaks, I'm not sure what else it can be?

Please help me.

TT maybe your "local" tuning company could do a leak down test or a compression test when you next passing just to check the h/gasket http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wink.gif

Is the water level dropping???? If there are no leaks and the water level isn't dropping then it isn't the HG, if there are no leaks and the water level does drop then it probably is the HG.

I expect the rad is just bunged up with crap. Have you flushed it recently?. Or Graham does a good price on a standard ford rad, which makes a hell of a difference.

Paul.
