i am in the USA and i have been looking in to the idea of making a new intake so i can mount a 60mm throttle body but i have ask many people if the length of the runners matters when it comes to turbo but get half yes and half no so i am now asking some one with a a turbo escort how long are the intake runners? and if i can help any one get 1.9 cvh parts please let me know i have a few and can get what i don't have

i persume you mean the intake tubes?
unless they are mega long the should not affect the performance the scooby imp front intercooler conversion has tubes over 2ft long it should not affect lag if its not what you mean i 'm talking a load of bollocks

i am talking about the runners that are between the plenum and the head for the intake you know what you fuel injectors go into the 4 runners

I think your talking about the the inlet tract from plenum to head. This certainly effects aspirated cars (different manifold length and trumpets) but I'm not sure about turbo ones. too much longer must efect your throttle response etc but I don't know for sure.
