i have got lots info about the Escort from you guy and you guys have been helpful to the best you can and i am thankful for this , I just wanted to see if you would like me to post some pictures of what i got going on with my turbo set up most of my stuff is custom as much available here for the Escort if you would like i will post a link

That is one mother of a cooler mate, looks like its progressing well. is that yellow one your car or just another off the net or somethin??
i am planing on running 350- 400 horse power and yes the Neon chartreuse (or as it looks yellow in the picturs) car is my daily driver and my winter beater
oh sorry it is the 1.9 cvh motor with 8:1 compression and a t3/t4 turbo and a custom cam made just for my car
that rocker cover looks nice, ive never seen one of those on a cvh before. where did you get it?

thr rocker cover is stock ok the car and yep that is a subaru fornt bumper that is what we have to do here is look to see what might fit the escort because here is it know as a family car and not any thing some one whould like to beef up to go fast so they make no parts here for it really ,oh and Eirian you want a rocker cover like mine i have one if you pay for shipping it is yours it you like it

Yup, the American 1900 block over here is about £1400, so the price you pay over there is very cheap compared, but then: how much will it cost to import one eh?
There were two different American Escorts that used the 1900 engine wasn't there: the Escort GT (as you have) used the 1859cc block, and also the Escort EXP that used the same block, but already bored to 1905cc.... (was it the EXP or was it an EGT? Can't remember off hand, will look it up)
Must say, tho she is looking very nice, and love the originality, the only negative point is the grille. I would cut out the centre so as to let more air in to the rad and mesh it, but hey! only my opinion! As long as you are happy http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif
8.1 is a very high compression to be running large power figures and fuck-off turbo specs isn't it? Over here most run at around 7.4 or 7.3... I think the std RST here is 8.1 and only good for upto 200bhp.... http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/confused.gif

all the escorts 87- 90 run the 1900 motor that is the pnoy and the lx and the gt and 91-94 lx not the gt models run the 1900 motor the gt from 91-94 run the 1800 dohc motor form mazda and the 8:1 compression is what the DSM runs and i have a friend running 30 psi on it at the track with stock pistons and rods so with better rods and lower compression i know i will be able to get the horse power i want form it and what do you mean by fuck -off turbo specs?i am going to run 25 psi at the track when i get it done and about 15 psi on the street
sorry forgot we don't call the exp any different then i escort exp but the made couple different models for the escort: the pony ( base model no Options ) the lx ( Options ) and GT ( power and Options )
how much would that bottem end be with steel rods and cranck plus uprated pistons???
well the custom rods i have are forged and i spent 640 us dollars for them and 400 for the pistons and then you would have to buy a lower end with the crank on top of that unless you were to buy a used one and have it machined here you can get a used 1900cc complete running for about 250 us dollars so it would cost you about 1300 us dollars plus shipping

yeah you guys are lucky you money is worth more then ours try the other way around and think how it is when i want to buy some thing from over there lol and about the info if i have it it is yours
