I have a faulty fuel pump on a series 2 RST. The engine is currently chipped but I am looking at some turbo work in the near future.
Should I go for std fuel pump or an uprated one?

If the latter whats best and where from?

Do they mount in the same place? Anything else i need to know look for?

Thanks

Ainsley

The S2 pump is the same as a cossie pump which is good for 400bhp.......i seriously doubt you S2 will be anywhere near 400bhp! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

The S1 pump is shorter..... you need to modify the cradle to accept the S2 pump as it is longer. The S1 pump isn't as higher flowing as the S2 pump so it is a good idea to fit the S2 pump.......which is what I have on my car! http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

Cool, thanks Daz. Does it take much to make ti fit or is it relatively easy? (ie - half hour with a hacksaw or somethjign like that?!?!?!)
