The old shed was getting well hot yesterday on the way home from the welders, ACT's of 70oC http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/blush.gif and the temp gauge near the red http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/blush.gif Feels a lot faster than a 1.8 Focus http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

I did slow down then http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif and it all cooled off, but once on my driveway the temp shot up again and the fan didn't come on.

?? Does the fan have a switched earth, so that the temp switch in the block, earths the fan and turns it on ???

Thanks

Switched earth I think try bridging the switch terminal. Have you checked the fan switch? Do your indicators work?

Nah just disconnect the switch terminal and bridge the wiring side.

Just asked about the indicators as the ignition relay also supplys power to the fan.

OK, I'll give that a go and see if the fan comes on http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Thanks
