Best bet is a narrowed Atlas with a slipper, get yourself a 2.8 Capri one and have it chopped, an English will really struggle with the power from a cossie'd car, Smiffy broke loads before biting the bullet and getting a Gartrac job.
Got cossie diff and beam under the back of mine, it does leave you with quite a wide track though.

Mark, don't suppose you know how much he payed for it? Did he just ring gartrac, and does Smiffy want to sell his?

pick up the axle for around £250, Gartrac will shorten it, rebuild the lasd, new bearings, quafie two piece half shafts. Bored out the lsd and fit bigger side gears, reweld on new spring saddles or diamond brackets if five linking for around a grand to £1100. So reckon on max £1500 all in. I very much doubt if Smiffy wants to flog his and neither do i!
