Please be very wary about using this company, heres why....

4 months ago i asked them to modify my inlet manifold, crossover pipe, and thermostat housing off of my S1 and to change the end cans on a 4x4 intercooler.
I heard nothing form them for ages, then when i started to phone everyday or so to ask when they would be ready, i was either told in a couple of days or they are nearly finished. This went on for about a month or so, i neede all the parts back so that i can finish the car, for the past couple of weeks i have been phoning 3 - 4 times EVERYDAY, trying to get some answers, i was told last Tuesday that the parts were all done and packed ready to go and that they were being picked up that afternoon, and should be with me either by thursday or friday at the latest.
these came and went phoned again on Saturday, was told by Steve scott, that if i hadnt recieved them by 12 on Saturday they would be delivered on Monday.
Monday came and no parts, phoned again and was told Steve was off ill ( fair enough if your ill your ill), and the guy i talked to didnt have anything to do with that side of the business, i phoned back later and spoke to a women, she then told me that my parts had been picked up today( monday) and would either be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday, NOT as i was told last thursday, i asked about this and didnt get a reply!!!!!! i dont like argueing over the phone so made polite conversation and finished the call.

Package arrived this morning, inlet manifold, thermostat housing and crossover pipe, no intercooler, just a small note telling me the intercooler will be next week.
Checked over the parts that had been delivered Thermostat housing has had what i asked done, inlet manifold, has some of what i asked, still needs a hole filling in and re-threading for water temp sensor, the cossie injectors dont really sit low enough in the manifold for the spray pattern to work properly, they seem to sit quite high up in the chamber, all this i could allmost live with, but the crossover pipe has been butchered, i cannot use it its not salvagable, What i had asked to be done was the old charge temp sendor ( the big one on the side) the hole need filling in as i dont need it anymore, and i needed the bottom of the pipe turning a little more, I had already had the pipe reversed last year but due to new changes to my engine and intercooler layout it needed turning a little more,( because i run a single pass 4x4 intercooler, i needed the pipe turning to the left, not the right as it is in standard trim), so that it sits more at a 90o angle, as opposed to the 45o angle it was at, what i got back was a fully turned BACK, they had returned it to standard, but in doing this they have it with huge lumps and humps on it, as soon as i get a digi camera i will take a picture of it for you all to see how bad it really is( or Slim if you see this pop round and take a few pics for me mate)

after 4 months i expected at least all the work to be done, to a high standard, not bodged.

So please people dont get caught out by them as i have.

I did have track access at Donnigton on RSOC National Day but have since had to cancel as i have been waiting ages for these parts to arrive, and now they are wrong i dont stand a chance of getting it finished and mapped before the 17th August http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wall.gif http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/wall.gif

Sharon i cant go full bore at them untill after i get my intercooler back as i am stuffed without it http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/sad.gif

I will have a go at them but not just yet,
I also wont be paying for any of it, if they think i will pay for being treated like shit, kept in the dark, and generally keep getting fobbed off, they are surely mistaken http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/shit.gif

sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with them. all i can say is that Steve couldn't of been more helpful when i had probs with my cossy. Sorted me out with the parts i needed a lot cheaper than i could get elsewhere and the work they did was good.Steve

Ok, right this has now been resolved,
I have recieved all my parts back now, and the intercooler is 100%fab, looks great and the welds are the best i have seen.

Met up with Steve Scott yesterday at Donnigton and we disscussed the issues i had with the quality of workmanship and the amount of time it has taken. Because the intercooler and thermostat housing were exactly what i wanted and hand no problems with them i was prepared to pay for these at a reduced rate, and not pay anything for the rest as i have had to get replacements and get them modified elsewhere.

To his credit even he admitted that the work done was crap and that he was sorry, so i paid £40 and called it a day. I must say that Steve was 100% fair when dealing with the issues i had, i was expecting a battle but he understood how pissed off i was that after waiting all that time to recieve shit merchandise was unaccpetable.

IMO that is still too little too late, however fair he was on the day face to face that dont excuse all the lies and crap and false promises you have had over the last 4 months.
