Can u get a K&N filter to fit the 1100 from a mk1?

Wouldnt make any difference to performance I dont reckon, do you want it for that - or for looks/noise?
If you can, maybe try a 1300 Sport Carb (twin choke), along with an aftermarket filter, you should notice a bit of difference... not that much though.

Waste of time - buy a better carb like the twin choke Weber, preferably with a better engine too.

yep you can get one matey-Burton Power list them.Although to be honest it really isnt worth it.A freind had one on his bog standard 1300 and it didnt make any diffeence at all, apart from running rougher.As said, if your gonna get one, get a DGV twin choke first, it'll make a little difference, although to be honest, for the same price as an air filter and carb, you can pick up complete 1300 engines, and a standard 1300 engine would probably be cheaper to insure than an 1100 with a twin choke and air filter....
