Hi,
I have Escort Mk3 discs with sierra cosworth rear calipers on an Atlas axle. Easy fit, but don't know how it brakes yet. (Axle is about 20kms from the car, and will stay there untill car is ready for it ).
Discs are cheap (approx 50euros incl. shipping), calipers aren't that expensive either.
Hope to have helped,
Bart

I am not sure but I belive I read in Classic Ford that they did not recomend to fit front-callipers on the rear axel? Why,I donīt know.....
Or maybe I am wrong??

And there is another long thread in the tech section which explains why you don't need big calipers on the rear of a Tarmac escort.
Found it.... http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=302454&an=0&page=13#302454
