I've only ever seen black airboxes fitted to the mk5, have seen blue ones fitted to mk3 and 4's, cheers
My 2.0 Cortina MK5 doesn't have a black airbox. It has a blue oval air filter box.
Sorry all sold long ago, all I remember is I lost a few quid on them all, especially the twin cowl dash
