Rally Design (do my head in)
I have not used Rally Design for ages as their postage charges have always annoyed me. A quick job of replacing the front to rear brake pipe on my anglia whilst doing the fuel pipes for Fuel Injection. I decided to use braided as it is easier to get neat and route than trying to thread a long length of copper in.
So check rally design order up 4m of hose add on £2 for postage then £2 for a credit card plus vat (no charge for debit card) oh and then i need to register again as it doesn't remember me from years ago. I then add 2 fittings and postage now goes to £9.50 !!!!
I know RD sell on Ebay so i find the fittings slightly more expensive and £0.72 postage each and i can pay via paypal (can't find the hose)
so order the pipe from their webpage and the fittings from ebay costing a total of £3.40 in postage about a £6 saving £8 if i had used a credit card
So just to make me laugh even more the fittings turned up today (ordered tuesday) still no pipe :lmao:
Cmon Rally design
to add insult i have just found the hose on Ebay :lmao:
Re: Rally Design (do my head in)
Yup i hate their postage and often go elsewhere in silent protest. I appreicate some heavier items do incur large charges but for lighter objects its a joke.
Its a shame as when I have used them ive always had great service - i'd use them far more if postage was a bit more flexible however.
Re: Rally Design (do my head in)
ring them up they are more sensible about postage then their computer system seams to go nuts on the postage prices.
Re: Rally Design (do my head in)
Same here, i refuse to pay £9.50 postage for something that should be £2.95.
I tend to look elsewhere also.
Re: Rally Design (do my head in)
www.motorsport-tools.com always competitive on price, postage never inflated, plus, remember everybody, from Jan 2018 companies cannot add a credit charge anymore
